Dr. King is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon (American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery) and is one of the founding physicians of Lakelands Orthopaedic Clinic. In addition to his orthopaedic certification, Dr. King completed a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopaedics (University of Pittsburgh), allowing him to earn an additional Certificate of Qualification in Hand Surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Since completing his fellowship, Dr. King has specialized in treating problems of the elbow, wrist, and hand.
Dr. King treats patients several days a week from the Greenwood office. He performs surgeries at Self Regional Hospital, Abbeville Area Medical Center and The Outpatient Surgery Center.
A native of Orangeburg, SC, Dr. King and his family now reside in Greenwood. Along with spending time with his wife and five children, Dr. King enjoys biking, whitewater kayaking, and being involved with his church's ministries.
